On Tuesday, Jim started at Morningside college in Sioux City. His official title is "Writing Specialist," how cool is that?!? He is working Tuesday afternoons, and all day Wednesday and Thursday helping students complete their writing assignments. So far he is really enjoying it and hopes it will lead to more: )
Joey started going to Miss Nancy's house before preschool on Wednesday and Thursday and after school all three days. He gets to ride the bus there, which he gets likes. He is enjoying being at Nancy's. Jon is really excited to stay after school at the BSA program. They have a lot of fun activities for the kids. Next week, they are going to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Jim met his brother Bill and a couple other friends in Dallas the last weekend in September. Sounds like a good time was had by all.
Speaking of Bill, he and his wife Heidi were finally able to make the trip to Vietnam to pick up their daughter, Callia Hue. They will be flying back to North Carolina next Friday with both of their one year olds, Callia and Nikko.
Speaking of one year olds, last weekend we celebrated Grant's first birthday in Minneapolis. It's hard to believe my little sister has been a mom for a year! Grant was a little overwhelmed by all the the hoopla, but he and the boys got along great.
